The Baby –
Your Body –
The fetus is usually viable at week 24 by a lot of doctors. If the baby is born prematurely, there are reasonable chances of survival. Your baby keeps gaining good weight during the 24th week. If the fetus weighs at 1 1/3 pounds or above, he or she might be gaining weight due to muscle growth, bone development, and organ growth. If you are expecting multiples, it is too early for fetuses to be born and survive. They will need neonatal intensive care for several months before they can go home. Some women easily get dehydrated and it occurs too frequently. So, you need to drink a lot of water in a day to fight off dehydration.
